Thugs Beat-up Teacher, VP For Flogging Oba-of-Benin's Grand-daughter

Teachers of the Federal Government Girls Secondary School in Benin City, have threatened to down tools over an attack on some of them by some suspected thugs.

We gathered that the suspected hoodlums invaded the school Monday and manhandled some teachers over the alleged flogging of a student in the school by one of the teachers.

The flogged student is said to be a granddaughter of the Benin Monarch, Oba Erediauwa. She was allegedly injured on the hand after being flogged by the teacher.

Thugs who stormed the school the thereafter demanded to see the teacher that flogged the girl. When their demand was not met, they resorted to manhandling the teachers around, including one of the Vice Principals.

Meet Gulder Ultimate Search Season 9 Finalists

Past winners of  Gulder Ultimate Search Reality TV show, Chris Okagbue (GUS 8 ), Dominic Mudabia (GUS 4) and Michael Nwachukwu (GUS 5), were selected to act as the gatekeepers of this edition. Nollywood Actor Chidi Mokeme will host this year's edition.

12 young men and women have been selected to participate in the forthcoming Gulder Ultimate Show Season 9. The selection party took place at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.

The best 12 were selected and it was jubilation time for them. Their joy knew no bounds as they celebrated and danced on the stage.

Mokeme hosted the maiden and second editions of GUS before Tin Tin, actor Bob Manuel-Udokwu and Darey Art-Alade took over from him and handled subsequent editions of the event.
